Butterflies Chocolates aim to provide excellent products and customer service. If you have any queries please email us at Claire@butterflieschocolates.co.uk or call us on 07960 747511. We aim to respond to any queries within 48 hours, and usually do so sooner.
- Contacting Us
If you need to contact us please either call us on 07960 747511, email us at Claire@butterflieschocolates.co.uk or complete the contact form on the Contact Us page. We aim to respond to all messages within 48 hours.
All prices for our products are shown on our website. When placing your order, the total value of your order will be displayed on the order confirmation screen. The price shown is the amount in pounds sterling that you will pay.
We aim to dispatch orders within 2 working days of the order being received. However, all our chocolates are handmade, often to order, and as a result at busy times orders may take up to 5 working days to be dispatched. Orders are usually sent by Royal Mail First Class. We cannot be held liable for delays in delivery due to third parties. We deliver to all areas of mainland United Kingdom, which includes Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man. Delivery is charged at a flat rate of £3.95 per order. For shipping outside of mainland UK please contact us at Claire@butterflieschocolates.co.uk to see if this is possible. We cannot accept any liability for failed delivery if the address provided is wrong. Unfortunately we are not able to accept orders for delivery to or from an address containing a PO Box number. If your order has been lost in the post please confirm the loss with Royal Mail. After confirmation we will then resend your order at no cost to you.
- Cancelling your order
If you would like to cancel your order please call us on 07960 747511 or email us at Claire@butterflieschocolates.co.uk within 24 hours of placing your order.In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulation you may also cancel your order at any time without reason within 14 working days of delivery. If you would like to cancel your order and receive a refund please confirm this in writing and return the complete, unopened item(s) to:Butterflies Chocolates

Please be aware that you are liable for any postage costs incurred as a result of returning items to Butterflies Chocolates. Please ensure that you obtain proof of postage as a refund can only be provided for items received back by us. This does not affect your statutory rights.
- Damaged Items
Our chocolate products are dispatched in perfect condition and we take great care in packaging them ready for postage. If anything is unfortunately damaged in transit by circumstances beyond our control please contact us within 24 hours of receipt and we will either refund you the full purchase price of the damaged item or send you a replacement as soon as possible.
- Reviewing your Order
At any point before you check out you can view your shopping cart either by clicking on the shopping cart icon in the top right of the screen or by clicking on the View Cart button. You will be shown an order summary, including the total cost of your order excluding any delivery charges. You can make any necessary changes, such as increasing or decreasing the quantity or removing an item from your cart. You can then either choose to proceed to checkout to begin the checkout process or click the back button to continue shopping.
- Checkout & Payment
Once you have chosen the items you would like to purchase please go to Checkout. Please enter the billing information requested and shipping address if it is different to the billing address provided. If you are choosing to ship your products to the same address as your billing address please uncheck the ‘ship to a different address’ box. If you would like to create an account to make future check outs quicker please tick the ‘create an account?’ check box and create a password. Please ensure you have selected ‘free delivery to YO42 postcode’ if delivery is to this area, otherwise select the flat rate of £3.95 postage. The order total, including delivery charges if applicable, will be shown in pounds sterling. To proceed with your order click on the Proceed to PayPal icon. You can then make a payment using PayPal, a debit card or credit card. Please note that you do not have to have a PayPal account to pay via PayPal. You must ensure that the details you provide are correct and we cannot accept responsibility for delays as a result of incorrect details being given. Once you have paid an email will then be sent to you confirming your order. You will also receive an email when we dispatch your chocolates.
- Discount Codes
From time to time we offer discount codes for certain circumstances and for a limited time period. If you encounter any problems using your discount code please email Claire@butterflieschocolates.co.uk.
At no point during the transaction are we aware of, nor do we store, your financial details. We will never share any personal details provided to us with any third parties. The only emails you will receive from us will relate to your order.

These links are provided for your convenience and we are not responsible for the content or availability of these websites. If you decide to access any of these third party websites through our website please be aware that you do so at your own risk.
